Robert Harrell

Bob believes in creating a comprehensive financial plan for all clients in order to preserve and grow wealth as well as solve financial problems.  Bob practices a collaborative approach to financial planning.  He brings in professionals from other fields as needed and collaborates with the professionals that clients already have, such as CPA’s and attorneys.  Bob feels that by coordinating the efforts of all these advisors, client’s needs are served best and costly mistakes may be avoided.

 

Bob’s clients typically fall into one of three categories, business owners, executives and families in late stage retirement planning. Bob specializes in business succession planning for owners of closely held businesses who want to transition ownership to the next generation or maximize their business value for retirement purposes. Bob also works with executives who are building and preserving their wealth while establishing their financial independence.  Families in late stage retirement planning have unique challenges to overcome. Bob creates and implements income strategies to help take families 25 or more years into retirement.

 

Bob received his Bachelors of Science degree in Administration and Economics with an emphasis in management from California State University Northridge.  He continued on to achieve a certificate in Financial Planning from UCSB and is studying to become a Certified Financial Planner™ practioner.  Bob is an active member in the local community including.

Family:

Bob lives in the city of Ventura with his wife Kristina and their two daughters.  Life keeps them busy with elementary school, soccer, swim, dance racket ball, girl scouts and every other child hood activity they can squeeze in.  The family enjoys traveling, camping and all things Disney…especially Star Wars.
