Financial Planning Approach

I believe financial planning is about more than investments and numbers. Financial planning is the process of helping individuals, families, and small business owners align their financial resources with the life they want to live. My approach centers on understanding each client's values, goals, and concerns, then building a comprehensive plan designed to create clarity and confidence.

As a CFP® professional, I focus on providing objective guidance across all areas of a client's financial life, including retirement planning, tax strategies, risk management, estate planning, and investment management. I also believe some of the best outcomes occur when financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys, and other trusted professionals work together as a coordinated team. By fostering collaboration and maintaining strong client relationships, I help ensure that important opportunities are identified and costly mistakes are avoided.

Professional Background

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with over ten years of experience serving individuals, families, and small business owners in different areas of the financial services industry. The common thread in all of my roles is the emphasis I place on helping clients navigate important financial decisions while building long-term strategies for their future.

In addition to earning my CFP® certification, I hold an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise. My passion for financial planning stems from a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by helping them think clearly, seek creative problem solving, and take actionable steps toward their dream life.

Life Outside the Office

When I'm not working with clients, you'll most likely find me spending time with my wife and two children, serving in my church community, or planning our next family adventure. Faith, family, and meaningful relationships are at the center of my life, and I enjoy investing my time in the people and causes that matter most to me.

My wife and I love to travel and spend as much time outdoors as we can. Our adventures tend to be a little more ambitious than most; we've trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, completed the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, and hiked the O Circuit in Patagonia with our five-month-old daughter. We love exploring new places, pushing our limits, and creating memories together, and we always have another adventure on the horizon.

I'm also a lifelong sports fan and former college basketball player who still enjoys competition. Whether it's a pickup game, a board game with friends, or pursuing professional goals, I enjoy challenges that require preparation, discipline, and teamwork. Those same qualities continue to shape how I approach life, leadership, and serving my clients.
